Do you know what these kids have in common? Malnutrition.
They are not provided with sufficient nutrients & that is why these kids are like this. Do you know some statistics :
- In 2012, British non-profit Save the Children reported that 1.83 million Indian children die every year before they turn five and pinned malnutrition as the key reason for the deaths.
- Malnutrition was the predominant risk factor for death in children younger than five in every state of India in 2017, accounting for 68.2 per cent of the total under-5 deaths, translating into 706,000 deaths (due to malnutrition). It was also the leading risk factor of loss of health among all age groups.
- The prevalence of low birthweight in India in 2017 was 21.4 per cent, child stunting 39.3 per cent, child wasting 15.7 per cent, child underweight 32.7 per cent, anaemia in children 59.7 per cent, anaemia in women 15–49 years of age 54.4 per cent, exclusive breastfeeding 53.3 per cent and overweight child 11.5 per cent.
- India is home to one-third of malnutritioned children. Sixty per cent of them live in six states: Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
According to Telegraph India , 68% of child deaths are due to malnutrition and this stats may increase .
Indian government is taking huge steps to make sure that every kid in India gets enough nutrition. In Tamilnadu, the midday meal scheme which was introduced by Kamaraj, the then CM of Tamilnadu which aimed at making kids attend school no matter what because of the fact that many kids during his regime didn’t attend school because they said “we don’t have food to eat itself how can we study”. This greatly moved the then CM Kamaraj who introduced midday meal scheme and made it a huge success. Later it was upgraded by MGR who added that extra nutrition must be given to the kids so that they don’t go malnutritioned.

After these two legends, Tamilnadu also tried to add milk to be given to the kids so that they have good health

The government of India too adopted the midday meal scheme and then it passed a law in 1995.

But this statement :

BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya today suggested that the move was akin to “interfering with the faith and religious beliefs of the people.”
The BJP, meanwhile, said it will oppose the move. “We will oppose any such proposal. I think this is an attempt to interfere with the religious belief and faith of the people,” Mr Vijayvargiya said.
BJP MLA and state vice president Rameshwar Sharma said the egg suggestion was against the public sentiments. “Several children and their mothers don’t even touch eggs. The Congress government should not force vegetarians to become non-vegetarians,” Mr Sharma said, adding that nutritional vegetarian food can be served to children in anganwadis.

I don’t see how it would hurt religious sentiments nor play with vegetarian children life. Because vegetarian people would still have the benefit of avoiding egg.
But wait? Why religion is coming here? So everything the opposition does is against religion? What Hindus are in danger eh? Secularism lost?
Come on people. It’s your own kids who are gonna go malnutritioned at the end of the day. It’s your kids who are gonna die at the end of the day. That MLA’s son would have been eating non-veg food, studying in any top college and would have been eating 3 times a day.
He has declared assets worth 1.63 crore and has movable and immovable assets. But look at these people :

Look at what these kids are doing. While the MLA’s son would have been lighting up cigarettes, these kids are not going to school and making them.
Just because of your vote bank and cheap politics, please don’t ruin these kid’s food. Atleast someone would benefit from the poor because of this and one day he might become a greater person in India too.

No need of explanation. These people are now commenting on kids midday lunch as if they are the…oops BJP are the saviors right.
But your religion will die if you leave your kids malnutritioned like this. Just don’t interfere in kids eating habits and atleast they get good food.
FYI : People can still adopt to eat vegetarian food and no one is forcing the egg.
Come on India, your kids are dying and these people are cheating in the name of religion !!!
Hindu fertility rate is becoming lower already bro, don’t do these and get your religion in danger , a gentle advise because you people are the saviors right?

People are losing jobs and layoffs are happening, PSUs are being sold and then Gold reserves are being taken and these kind of things make people to forget the real issues. I must appreciate BJP here because they really know how to divert!!
